South Tyneside Coast Photography Workshop

The South Tyneside Coast has to be considered as one of the most picturesque stretches of coastline to be found in the North East of England. Join Jason Friend as he shares his love for the coast and the numerous photographic gems to be found here.

The day will be spent in a relatively small area as Jason conveys the various techniques available for successful coastal photography. The workshop will begin at 10 AM where we will meet at the Souter Lighthouse car park, from where we will get the photography rolling by exploring the Whitburn Coastal Park.

Heading north we will stop for a lunch break at the Souter Lighthouse before capturing images of the property before heading towards Marsden Bay. We shall continue to explore the coastline before returning to the meeting place where the workshop will conclude at 4PM.

This workshop will give you the opportunity to practice your architectural and landscape photography along the South Tyneside Coast. The composition of images will be discussed in addition to the technical requirements for successful landscape photography such as the use of filters, the benefits and disadvantages of using a tripod and essential focusing techniques.

The workshop fee does not include your transport to the meeting place, car parking, insurance or photographic equipment/materials.
