Scotland, Edinburgh, Edinburgh City. The Flodden Wall, constructed after the death of King James IV during the Battle of Flodden, was constructed as a means to defend the city from invaders. Remains of the wall are visible here and now form part of the Vennel heading towards the Grassmarket.
