Join Jason Friend in his home patch as he shares his intimate knowledge of the North Tyneside Coast – gained from numerous years photographing the highlights of this spectacular coast.
We will meet at the causeway leading to the stunning St Mary’s Lighthouse and Island, Whitley Bay, at 11.00AM which will allow us plenty of time to photograph the mainland coast before crossing the causeway to the island and lighthouse where we will spend the rest of the workshop exploring different compositions of the Lighthouse and the surrounding coast.
This workshop will give you the opportunity to practice your architectural and landscape photography along the North Tyneside Coast. The composition of images will be discussed in addition to the technical requirements for successful landscape photography such as the use of filters, the benefits and disadvantages of using a tripod and essential focusing techniques.
The workshop will begin at 11AM and finish at 3PM. Places will be limited to 4 participants to ensure plenty of ‘1 on 1’ time with Jason.
